We are extremely pleased to announce the arrival of our 2nd bottling in the ‘Landscapes’ series. This time it is a 13yo (distilled in 1998, cask no. 2827) BenRiach aged in traditional bourbon casks then finished in Virgin American Oak casks and bottled at cask strength, 57.2%. This has already been on sale in the shop for the last few weeks and we are already getting very positive feedback from our customers. The image on the label is once again painted by well renowned local artist Mr Dennis McCallum.
Tasting notes:
NOSE: Spicy and enticing.Cinnamon, cloves and elegant toasted oak. Stewed apples and a subtle rhubarb aroma bring about harmony and balance.
TASTE: Sweet, nutty and very big. A huge wave of toasted oak blends together with spiced apple cake and a serving of raspberry conserve.
