The name Longmorn is said to derive from an old Scottish word meaning "place of the holy man". Produced near Elgin, this single malt whisky is highly respected for its complex, smooth, full character and heady bouquet.

The 1997 single malt has been matured in a refill hogshead allowing the  distillery character to shine. Fresh apples and pears come to the fore as the aromatics open. There is a creamy hint  with some floral notes accompanied by pepper. The palate offers a mouth-filling burst of sweetness balanced by emerging spice.
