Bumbu is made at a historic Barbadian distillery founded in 1893 and continuously operated for more than 120 years. Their rum is distilled using two continuous stills and aged up to 15 years in grade-A, once-used Kentucky bourbon barrels. The yeast used during fermentation is a distillery secret that dates back as far as 1840, when some of their original iron pot stills were cast.

The minerals and other elements present in sugarcane contribute unique characteristics when distilled into rum:

Barbados: Soft and sweet, with hints of vanilla and banana, Belize: Medium-bodied, with notes of coffee and cocoa, Brazil: Light and fruity with aromas of tropical fruits like mango and papaya, Costa Rica: Full-bodied and aromatic with hints of coriander and ginger, Dominican Republic: Full bodied and sweet. Notes of toffee and vanilla, El Salvador: Dry and light with floral aromas and exceptional smoothness, Guyana: Rich, heavy and earthy, with chocolate and caramel flavors, Honduras: Medium-bodied, with notes of orange and cinnamon

West Indies Swizzle

2 oz Bumbu Rum : 6 mint leaves : 1/4oz Coconut Palm sugar syrup : 1/2oz fresh squeezed lime juice : 1 oz fresh pineapple juice

Add all ingredients into a Collins glass.  Add crushed ice and swizzle until the outside of the glass is frosted. Top with crushed ice : Garnish with a mint bouquet.

We use Parcelforce 48 as our standard shipping service. If you are after speedier deliveries then you can choose Parcelforce 24 or Parcelforce AM (sorry, neither of the faster services are available in the Highlands & Islands). There is no surcharge for mainland UK deliveries (including the Highlands of Scotland and the Isle of Skye) but off shore and Northern Ireland destinations incur a surcharge of £8.50 per consignment although single bottles can be sent with our Standard Service. Deliveries will be made from Monday to Friday and do not include Saturdays.

Deliveries will be charged according to the schedule below. We have attempted to cover all options where we can.

DELIVERY OPTIONS

 

Delivery times may be affected if there are unforeseen circumstances. Please note the availability shown for each product in the Product Details page is real-time but on rare occasions during particularly busy periods items do run out-of-stock.

For your security, the courier's paperwork must be signed, either at the recipients address or a neighbouring address in order to acknowledge receipt of the Products.

A Delivery Note detailing the Products supplied by Drambusters will be stored in one of your delivered parcel/s, and this is your proof of delivery.

 If our courier attempts delivery at the delivery address, specified in the order, or as a fall-back attempts delivery with a neighbour but cannot deliver the Products, the courier will retain the Products and will leave a calling card with a Customer Services telephone number for you to call in order to arrange re-delivery. Please note that the courier company can only arrange a specific re-delivery date, and cannot arrange a specific re-delivery time. If you give us your mobile number, SMS messages will be sent during the transit of your parcel.


The products will be returned to our Collection Depot if they have not been collected from the courier. For returned orders only the cost of the products ordered is refunded less the cost of returning the order.

RETURNS

1. Order Cancellation

You may cancel your order at any time until fourteen days after the goods are received, but you will be liable for the initial delivery cost. You will be responsible for returning the products to us at your own cost.

The goods must arrive back at our Collection Depot unopened and undamaged with the seal intact. You can cancel your order by emailing our Customer Services on enquiries@tbwatson.co.uk

You will then be sent an email with details of your returns number and the returns address. The number must be clearly displayed on your returned order. Orders returned without first obtaining an returns number will not be accepted.

All credits will be issued within 30 days of the cancellation, provided the goods have been returned undamaged within that period.

We cannot offer cancellation rights for goods that are being engraved to your specification once the proof has been approved by you. We will always submit a proof to you and will not proceed with your order until we are satisfied that you are happy with the artwork. This applies to all engraved products including whisky bottles.

You may cancel your order of personalised printed labelled bottles at any time until fourteen days after the goods are received, but the goods must arrive back to us unopened and undamaged with the seals intact and we reserve the right to retain a £5 charge for the label design.

 

2. Returns

We will provide a full refund of any products that are faulty. We must be notified of damaged or faulty products within 3 working days of receipt. We may require the faulty products to be returned to us. We will arrange this as necessary.

On the rare occasion where the products delivered are different to those ordered we must be informed of this within 3 working days of receipt. We will arrange a collection of these products as necessary, once we have investigated the despatch records for your order.
