With two Royal Warrants and more than 300 years of history, Berry Bros. & Rudd is Britain's original wine and spirits merchant. Family-owned and run, the company still trades from No.3 St James's Street, its home since 1698. The company combines independent spirit bottling expertise with access to the very best Malts in Scotland. Its mission is to create a perfectly balanced dram to be enjoyed with family and friends alike. Historically almost all Scotch bore a distinctive smoky note, as peat was the most readily available fuel; today, however, it is much less common. This Classic Peated Cask is a tribute to the traditional, peated dram - with expressive bursts of soot and smoke complemented by the spirit's fruitiness.

Appearance: Light

Bouquet: Well balanced, with Peat aromas giving the edge. Fruity undertones deliver a rich complexity.

Palate: A fruity sweetness introduces the soft peaty character. Well balanced to perfection

Finish: Mid-long, deliciously Peated.

We are currently using Fedex for most of our deliveries and most orders are delivered the following working day.

Orders over £100 are delivered free of charge to mainland UK.Unfortunately Off Shore charges will apply and we cannot avoid this.

WE DO NOT CURRENTLY SHIP OVERSEAS OUTWITH THE UK

We are also happy to deliver local orders (within 20 miles of Dumfries) free of charge to. We do these deliveries in our own van and this option can be found in the Shipping drop down box in the Shopping Cart. Please note though, that local deliveries may take a day or two longer as it depends which route we are taking or have just been on. If we have just delivered to Annan for example when your order comes through, it may be another couple days before we go that way. IF YOU WANT YOUR ORDER IN THE NEXT TWO DAYS, then please choose Next Day Delivery

For off shore and some Highlands destinations we will most likely use Parcelforce or Royal Mail and it may take a day or two longer to reach you.

Off-shore destinations do not qualify for free shipping due to our costs, please choose off shore and NI for the correct price.
