Nose Rounded and creamy with angelica, lemon and elderflower. A burst of spicy coriander appears after a minute. Palate Lemon and soft juniper, with the elderflower making another appearance. Finish Earthy orris and coriander notes last. Good in cocktails, such as:

French 75 Cocktail

45 ml Darnley's View

15 ml Lemon Juice

7.5ml Sugar Syrup

Top up with Champagne

Shake the gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup with cubed ice. Strain into a chilled champagne flute and top with Champagne. Garnish with lemon zest twist.

We are also happy to deliver local orders (within 20 miles of Dumfries) free of charge to. We do these deliveries in our own van and this option can be found in the Shipping drop down box in the Shopping Cart. Please note though, that local deliveries may take a day or two longer as it depends which route we are taking or have just been on. If we have just delivered to Annan for example when your order comes through, it may be another couple days before we go that way. IF YOU WANT YOUR ORDER IN THE NEXT TWO DAYS, then please choose Next Day Delivery

For off shore and some Highlands destinations we will most likely use Parcelforce or Royal Mail and it may take a day or two longer to reach you.

Off-shore destinations do not qualify for free shipping due to our costs, please choose off shore and NI for the correct price.
