To make this blended scotch whisky they have taken their Rìgh Seumas I vatted malt and joined it with a carefully selected eight year old Invergordon single grain whisky which has created a delightfully layered and energetic dram - no surprise given the malts in this blend are Bruichladdich, Auchentoshan, Rhosdhu, Arran and Tobermory matured in a variety of Madeira, French wine and American bourbon casks. On the nose the result is candied fruit, lemon drops, set honey then vanilla over toasted oats. The palate bubbles with sweet cereal, effervescent oak spices, chewy and spicy toffee, and a long buttery vanilla finish. Be upstanding for a true monarch of the glen.

We are currently using Fedex for most of our deliveries and whilst there are options for an economy and next day delivery, in most cases all orders are delivered the following day.

Orders over £90 are delivered free of charge to mainland UK.Unfortunately Off Shore charges will apply and we cannot avoid this.

We are also happy to deliver local orders (within 20 miles of Dumfries) free of charge to. We do these deliveries in our own van and this option can be found in the Shipping drop down box in the Shopping Cart. Please note though, that local deliveries may take a day or two longer as it depends which route we are taking or have just been on. If we have just delivered to Annan for example when your order comes through, it may be another couple days before we go that way. IF YOU WANT YOUR ORDER IN THE NEXT TWO DAYS, then please choose ParcelForce 48 or 24

For off shore and some Highlands destinations we will most likely use Parcelforce or Royal Mail and it may take a day or two longer to reach you.
