First, the true essence of Islay; Bunnahabhain whisky, lovingly crafted from the finest non-peated barley and crystal waters of the Margadale River. Purified in the tallest stills on the island, then left to gently mature for 30 years.   Next to Sicily, where succulent grapes are harvested beneath brilliant blue skies, then expertly aged in wooden casks to make warm and soft Marsala wine.  These odysseys intertwine in 2016 in the perfect marriage of Scotland and Sicily; this whisky carefully poured into four empty Marsala hogsheads and gently laid to rest beside the Sound of Islay.  Two stories. Two journeys. One exquisite taste - a cask strength Limited Release of indomitable spirit and impeccable character. TASTING NOTES Colour: Deep rose gold Nose: Rich oak, sweet fruit and marsala influence, honeyed nuts and berries, floral notes with hints of candied fruit Palate: Rounded and integrated, rich oak, honeyed nuts, sweet grape, dark chocolate, vanilla and soft caramel, with hints of creamy berries and subtle wood spice. Finish: Long and lingering fruity finish with hints of sweet oak. Distilled and filled into cask on 1st December 1988 First matured in traditional oak whisky casks. Transferred to 4 marsala hogsheads on the 7th of July 2016 Limited bottling of only 1260 bottles The blending of different casks requires great blending skill by Senior Blender, Dr. Kirstie McCallum. Whiskies are matured in full, in coastal warehouses on Bunnahabhain Bay.

We are currently using Fedex for most of our deliveries and whilst there are options for an economy and next day delivery, in most cases all orders are delivered the following day.

Orders over £90 are delivered free of charge to mainland UK.Unfortunately Off Shore charges will apply and we cannot avoid this.

We are also happy to deliver local orders (within 20 miles of Dumfries) free of charge to. We do these deliveries in our own van and this option can be found in the Shipping drop down box in the Shopping Cart. Please note though, that local deliveries may take a day or two longer as it depends which route we are taking or have just been on. If we have just delivered to Annan for example when your order comes through, it may be another couple days before we go that way. IF YOU WANT YOUR ORDER IN THE NEXT TWO DAYS, then please choose ParcelForce 48 or 24

For off shore and some Highlands destinations we will most likely use Parcelforce or Royal Mail and it may take a day or two longer to reach you.
