Rum masters Doug McIvor and Jean Francois Koenig hand select casks of perfectly mature rum and blend them together to create Penny Blue XO. Penny Blue XO is released in small batches, with variations on the proportions of different casks. Each batch in the series retains a level of continuity, yet is distinct in character; high levels of complexity becoming the hallmark of XO. Penny Blue XO is non chillfiltered and natural in colour. Full amber gold in colour, the nose is fresh and well balanced with a subtle smoky wood spice and a touch of tobacco. The palate is mouth filling and generous, dominated by sweet fruits, wood spice and cooking spices. A very long finish reminiscent of prunes macerated in well aged rum.

We are currently using Fedex for most of our deliveries and whilst there are options for an economy and next day delivery, in most cases all orders are delivered the following day.

Orders over £90 are delivered free of charge to mainland UK.Unfortunately Off Shore charges will apply and we cannot avoid this.

WE DO NOT CURRENTLY SHIP OVERSEAS OUTWITH THE UK

We are also happy to deliver local orders (within 20 miles of Dumfries) free of charge to. We do these deliveries in our own van and this option can be found in the Shipping drop down box in the Shopping Cart. Please note though, that local deliveries may take a day or two longer as it depends which route we are taking or have just been on. If we have just delivered to Annan for example when your order comes through, it may be another couple days before we go that way. For off shore and some Highlands destinations we will most likely use Parcelforce or Royal Mail and it may take a day or two longer to reach you.
