At the heart of MacNair’s Boutique House of Spirits lies a meticulous attention to detail. They have an unparalleled understanding of their discerningly selected casks. They feel and live the liquid odyssey, enabling the creation of exquisite drinking experiences. Taking inspiration from MacNair’s discovery of the delights of a dram beside a smoky peat fireplace, Master Blender Billy Walker has drawn upon his half century’s experience in blending to develop a recipe fit for a traditional Scottish toast to long life; Lang may yer lum reek. Billy has sourced the finest vintage Islay, Highland and Speyside Single Malts, then blended with aged GlenAllachie, in pursuit of the perfect balance between peat and rich, fruity character. The spirit was then laid to rest in premium Spanish sherry casks, wine barriques and virgin oak casks. As time passes, the flavours marry and extract additional characteristics from the wood. Batch 1 of their 10-year-old is bottled at natural cask strength of 55.4% ABV, with no colour added and non chill filtered for maximum flavour.

We are currently using Fedex for most of our deliveries and most orders are delivered the following working day.

Orders over £100 are delivered free of charge to mainland UK.Unfortunately Off Shore charges will apply and we cannot avoid this.

We are also happy to deliver local orders (within 20 miles of Dumfries) free of charge to. We do these deliveries in our own van and this option can be found in the Shipping drop down box in the Shopping Cart. Please note though, that local deliveries may take a day or two longer as it depends which route we are taking or have just been on. If we have just delivered to Annan for example when your order comes through, it may be another couple days before we go that way. IF YOU WANT YOUR ORDER IN THE NEXT TWO DAYS, then please choose Next Day Delivery

For off shore and some Highlands destinations we will most likely use Parcelforce or Royal Mail and it may take a day or two longer to reach you.

Off-shore destinations do not qualify for free shipping due to our costs, please choose off shore and NI for the correct price.
