A uniquely balanced single malt whisky (smoky:sweet) distilled at the trailblazing Girvan distillery. Ailsa Bay’s singular vision of precision-balance in whisky is driven by whisky visionaries Peter Gordon, Brian Kinsman, John Ross & Conn Lynch who have teamed together to create a spirit as beautiful, balanced and unique as brand’s timeless muse, Ailsa Craig Ailsa Bay’s unique balance of smoke and sweetness, born in the precision and vision of its distilling in a state of the art distillery, reveals a new space on the whisky map

Nose: Intense, smoky phenolic note but balanced with creamy, honeyed sweetness. Then...smoky bacon!

Palate: Zingy, peaty kick layered with beautiful sweetness. A meaty character too - crispy rasher with a hint of maple syrup

Finish: Huge - goes on forever. Again balance of smoke and sweet, savoury but candied spice notes - due to the Oak casks (vanilla) and Hudson (oily, syrupy, sweet)

We are currently using Fedex for most of our deliveries and whilst there are options for an economy and next day delivery, in most cases all orders are delivered the following day.

Orders over £90 are delivered free of charge to mainland UK.Unfortunately Off Shore charges will apply and we cannot avoid this.

We are also happy to deliver local orders (within 20 miles of Dumfries) free of charge to. We do these deliveries in our own van and this option can be found in the Shipping drop down box in the Shopping Cart. Please note though, that local deliveries may take a day or two longer as it depends which route we are taking or have just been on. If we have just delivered to Annan for example when your order comes through, it may be another couple days before we go that way. IF YOU WANT YOUR ORDER IN THE NEXT TWO DAYS, then please choose ParcelForce 48 or 24

For off shore and some Highlands destinations we will most likely use Parcelforce or Royal Mail and it may take a day or two longer to reach you.
