Highland-based Tomatin Distillery have added to their range of limited edition Cù Bòcan single malts with the release of a 2006 vintage edition. Bottled at a strength of 50%, the whisky is matured in first fill ex-Bourbon and ex-Oloroso Sherry casks. Boasting warm, festive flavours with a gentle touch of peat smoke, it is fitting that the bottle comes with a special Cù Bòcan branded glass - ideal for gifting at this time of year. There are just 9000 bottles of this limited edition available worldwide. The Cù Bòcan brand is named after a mythical Highland hellhound which was rumoured to haunt the village of Tomatin and was launched in 2013 as a lightly peated alternative to the traditional fruity flavours of Tomatin single malt. The distillery has been producing peated malt for the last week of every year since 2005, and in recent years has been experimenting with different levels of peatiness (PPM) in order to diversity their offering in the coming years. This latest release follows previous limited editions including the 1989 vintage in 2014, along with the Virgin Oak, Sherry and Bourbon expressions in 2015, the 1988 vintage launched in May 2016 and the 2005 vintage launched in August 2016.

Jennifer Masson, Marketing Manager, commented: “As the Cù Bòcan brand continues to grow – sales have grown 15% year to date on last year – our followers have been eagerly awaiting news of the next limited edition to complement the standard edition, which is available all year round. This year, the added value provided by the unique branded glass adds to the drink-at-home experience. The whisky itself is sweet and full with underlying light, earthy smoke and warm winter spice flavours, perfect for enjoying over the winter months and as a festive gift.”

We use Parcelforce 48 as our standard shipping service. If you are after speedier deliveries then you can choose Parcelforce 24 or Parcelforce AM (sorry, neither of the faster services are available in the Highlands & Islands). There is no surcharge for mainland UK deliveries (including the Highlands of Scotland and the Isle of Skye) but off shore and Northern Ireland destinations incur a surcharge of £8.50 per consignment although single bottles can be sent with our Standard Service. Deliveries will be made from Monday to Friday and do not include Saturdays.

Deliveries will be charged according to the schedule below. We have attempted to cover all options where we can.

DELIVERY OPTIONS

 

Delivery times may be affected if there are unforeseen circumstances. Please note the availability shown for each product in the Product Details page is real-time but on rare occasions during particularly busy periods items do run out-of-stock.

For your security, the courier's paperwork must be signed, either at the recipients address or a neighbouring address in order to acknowledge receipt of the Products.

A Delivery Note detailing the Products supplied by Drambusters will be stored in one of your delivered parcel/s, and this is your proof of delivery.

 If our courier attempts delivery at the delivery address, specified in the order, or as a fall-back attempts delivery with a neighbour but cannot deliver the Products, the courier will retain the Products and will leave a calling card with a Customer Services telephone number for you to call in order to arrange re-delivery. Please note that the courier company can only arrange a specific re-delivery date, and cannot arrange a specific re-delivery time. If you give us your mobile number, SMS messages will be sent during the transit of your parcel.


The products will be returned to our Collection Depot if they have not been collected from the courier. For returned orders only the cost of the products ordered is refunded less the cost of returning the order.

RETURNS

1. Order Cancellation

You may cancel your order at any time until fourteen days after the goods are received, but you will be liable for the initial delivery cost. You will be responsible for returning the products to us at your own cost.

The goods must arrive back at our Collection Depot unopened and undamaged with the seal intact. You can cancel your order by emailing our Customer Services on enquiries@tbwatson.co.uk

You will then be sent an email with details of your returns number and the returns address. The number must be clearly displayed on your returned order. Orders returned without first obtaining an returns number will not be accepted.

All credits will be issued within 30 days of the cancellation, provided the goods have been returned undamaged within that period.

We cannot offer cancellation rights for goods that are being engraved to your specification once the proof has been approved by you. We will always submit a proof to you and will not proceed with your order until we are satisfied that you are happy with the artwork. This applies to all engraved products including whisky bottles.

You may cancel your order of personalised printed labelled bottles at any time until fourteen days after the goods are received, but the goods must arrive back to us unopened and undamaged with the seals intact and we reserve the right to retain a £5 charge for the label design.

 

2. Returns

We will provide a full refund of any products that are faulty. We must be notified of damaged or faulty products within 3 working days of receipt. We may require the faulty products to be returned to us. We will arrange this as necessary.

On the rare occasion where the products delivered are different to those ordered we must be informed of this within 3 working days of receipt. We will arrange a collection of these products as necessary, once we have investigated the despatch records for your order.
